1. Personal Data We Collect

User-provided information

Contact Data: email address and first/last name (if provided). Creem, our merchant of record, processes card details; we do not store your card number.
Location Data: country, state, or coarse location (non-precise).
Quiz Data: date and place of birth, birth time, gender, relationship status, future goals, and palm photograph. The photograph is uploaded over HTTPS, stored so we can generate and preserve your reading, and sent to our palm-analysis processor. We do not use quiz data or palm images for advertising, and we do not collect facial biometric information.

Automatically collected information

Device Info: browser, operating system, language, and device category.
Identity Data: IP address, coarse country, session identifiers, and referral or campaign parameters.
Usage Data: page visits, quiz progress, checkout clicks, and reading opens.
Diagnostic information: logs, error reports, events.
Cookies & Tracking: essential cookies and, only with your optional consent, analytics or advertising tags.

2. How We Use Your Data

Provide the Service, including personalized palm reading results.
Improve and test new features through internal research and development.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Process payments, issue invoices, and handle account administration.
Send marketing communications (with your explicit consent).
Personalize advertising (with your explicit consent).

3. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies (required for the Service to function), functionality cookies (to remember preferences), analytics cookies (to understand aggregate usage), and social media cookies (when you share content). You can control cookies through your browser settings.

The Pinterest Tag is optional and loads only after you accept optional tracking. It measures page visits from Pinterest and does not receive your quiz answers or palm images. You can change your choice at any time through the “Privacy choices” button.

4. Third-Party Data Processors

We share data with the following categories of processors, only as necessary to deliver the Service:

Hosting & infrastructure: Cloudflare (Workers and R2) and Neon (Postgres).
Payment processing: Creem, our merchant of record (we never store your card number).
Palm-image processing: Modal-hosted analysis services used to create report visuals.
Analytics: Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics, when configured.
Advertising: Pinterest Tag, only after optional tracking consent.
AI content generation: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (for reading generation).
Email: Resend or similar (for transactional emails).

5. Data Retention & Security

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide your saved reading and lifetime access, operate the Service, and meet legal or accounting obligations. You may request deletion by emailing support@lifepalmistry.com; we will also instruct applicable processors to delete data where required and technically available.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, pseudonymization, and access controls. However, no transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Withdrawal of consent at any time.
Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction: request updates to inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion (“right to be forgotten”).
Objection to processing based on legitimate interest.
Restriction of processing under certain conditions.

California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale of personal information collected in the past 12 months. Within that period, we have collected the following categories:
