Our classical foundations

Our reading engine rests on 473 interpretation passages drawn from the three definitive works of palmistry:

• Cheiro's Palmistry for All (1916) — the touchstone of Western palmistry, written by Count Louis Hamon after readings with kings, prime ministers, and cultural figures of turn-of-the-century Europe.
• Henry Frith's Victorian palmistry — a more pragmatic school focused on character and everyday decision patterns rather than prediction.
• The Hasta Samudrika Shastra — the classical Indian palmistry canon, rooted in Vedic thought, which reads the palm alongside the rest of the body's signs.

Why we layer modern AI on top

A classical palm reader works from intuition plus a small library of remembered correlations. We extend that library to 473 passages — more than any single reader could hold in memory — and use a modern language model, trained to read in the voice of a seasoned palm reader, to find which passages recognize your specific hand.

Combined with 21-point hand-geometry measurement (via MediaPipe, running locally on your device), this lets us deliver a reading that is both classically grounded and specifically yours — every line built from your own palm, no two readings alike.
