When the life line looks like a series of small linked circles or beads rather than a single clean furrow, palmistry calls this a chained life line. Cheiro read it as "a certain sign of a tendency to delicate health, especially a weak digestion and low vitality."

This is not a sentence. It is a diagnostic. Your body is more reactive than most — stress, poor food, long hours, and unresolved emotion show up in you physically faster than in other people. You already know this if it applies to you. The practical reading: eat simply and regularly, sleep on a schedule, keep at least one form of gentle movement in your week. Broken life line: a major transition, not a verdict

• Break with a second segment overlapping the first → a "complete change in surroundings and position," often advancing rather than harming the life
